ABOUT THE EVENT
The II International Air Transport Forum “IATF-2012” will be held in Ulyanovsk in the Airport “Vostochny” grounds, during August 23 to 25, 2012. This event is arranged with the support from the Russian Federation Government, “United Russia” Party, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport, and the Union of Aircraft Manufacturers. The Forum is sponsored by the Government of Ulyanovsk Region, the United Aircraft Corporation and Closed JSC “Vneshaviacosmos”.
IATF has become the second large regular aviation-related event in Russia along with the traditional International Aviation and Space Salon in Zhukovskiy (MAKS). Following the first Forum in Ulyanovsk held in April of 2011, Directorates of the tow events signed a partnership agreement that, starting from 2012, will serve to correlate the timing of the two air shows so that “IATF” will be held on even years, whereas “MAKS” – on odd years.
IATF-2012 Program includes an International Congress and an Exhibition, a Youth Air Transport Forum, competitions in aviation sports and many other arrangements.

ExhibitionAn International Exhibition will be held within the structure of IATF-2012 during August 23 to 25, 2012 that is intended to show Russian aviation companies achievements, and exhibit international experience in the air transport and cluster economy area.Read more |
Air showOn August 25, 2012, on the closing day of IATF, festivities on the occasion of the Russian Federation Air Fleet Day will be arranged the central event of which will be the Air Show with participation of the leading aerobatics teams of Russia.Read more |
